The story of “The Fourth Horseman” continues. Gerak has now become an Ori Prior and arrives to Dakara to speak in front of the High Council. Teal’c confronts him that the Ori poisoned Gerak’s mind, telling them things he heard from Orlin. In defense of the Ori, Gerak shows his newly acquired powers of telekinesis, leaving the council speechless. Back at the SGC, the virus continues to spread and the casualties are on the rise. Meanwhile, Cameron meets with Jolan and Lord Haikan. The two report that they just got back from a mission they were sent on by the Prior, to cull the non-believers, though their mission was not a success since they didn’t want to kill farmers, a non-combatant nation. They saw another world being completely wiped out by an Ori plague and then Cameron tells them that it is happening on Earth in this very moment, also saying that it can also happen here if the Prior discovers the mission failed. In the meantime, it is revealed that Orlin is in danger, since not only is the knowledge of the Ancients fading away, but it is also damaging his brain.

Season 9, Episode 12: Collateral Damage

Cameron is in an alien city, lying on the floor of an unknown room. He has visions of being with a woman, who he later attacks and kills. When he wakes up his hands are bloodied and soon enough some men run inside. One man addresses Cameron by name and then leads him to the dead woman and arrests him on accusations of murder. After that we see a scene from twenty four hours earlier and Cameron is sitting in a chair with electrodes attached to his head, visualizing that he is talking to the woman. He speaks of “the ring” and how they have visited thousands of worlds of which he is ambassador. Then he wakes up and says that he also remembers that those events are from a year ago and they seem to belong to the head of the project, the Emissary. It is a Goa’uld technology based memory transfer device. The device was discovered on this very planet, named Galar, since long ago Goa’uld held it, though now it is an Asgard protected world.

Season 9, Episode 13: Ripple Effect

The SGC receives unscheduled off-world activation and it is confirmed that it is SG-1’s signal, who arrive a bit early from a mission. The team is in the briefing room and everything sounds normal until some differences are being mentioned, most notably the team says that Selmak and Jacob are alive. General Landry is a bit confused, but the whole briefing is cut short once the Stargate activates again at the time the SG-1 should have returned. And in fact they do, since another SG-1 comes through. The theory that Ba’al’s cloning technology isn’t in question is discarded, so Samantha develops another one. It seems that the second SG-1 which arrived is from a parallel dimension, though she can’t explain how they got here. Eventually, Samantha discovers an unidentified energy spike caused by a black hole is responsible, the one created by the Ori in “Beachhead”.

Season 9, Episode 14: Stronghold

We see the High Council on Dakara, as Brother Maz’rai talks. He thinks it is wise to disband the Council in order to bring democracy to all Jaffa. Next to speak is Sister Ka’lel who speaks against Maz’rai, very much to the surprise of both Bra’tac and Teal’c. Previously she spoke privately that she supports the disbandment of the Council and right now they are both baffled with what is really going on. Maz’rai tries to approach her in private quarters, but unexpectedly she attacks him with a Zat gut. Later when another Council is summoned, Maz’rai opposes that which he previously supported and this time Bra’tac and Teal’c are certain there is some foul play in the shadows going on. At a certain point Teal’c disappears and his mentor rushes to the SGC to report. Meanwhile, Cameron visits his friend Major Bryce Ferguson in hospital, who is injured and is now unable to run for a spot in the SGC.

Season 9, Episode 15: Ethon

There is a quick recap concerning the Ori, as well as some events about the planet Tegalus, from the episode “Icon”. Once the episode begins, Jared Kane of the Rand Protectorate arrives to the SGC. Despite his government being against his journey, he comes nevertheless, since he bares grim news. He reveals that a Prior of the Ori arrived to Tegalus and he gave the government plans for building an orbital weapon, which they want to use on their enemies, the Caledonians. The Prior also told the Protectorate that they should stop all alliance with Earth as well. Jared brought the plans for the weapon and asks SG-1 for help in destroying it. He admits that he still hates the Caledonians, but he doesn’t want to see anyone get killed. Cameron is unsure whether to act or not, but Daniel explains to him that it is their fault everything went crazy on Tegalus. Cameron is for the destruction of the weapon, yet Daniel proposes to try and talk to the Protectorate’s government in order to show them what the Ori actually are.

Season 9, Episode 16: Off the Grid

SG-1 is running away from hostile mercenaries on an off-world mission. While they fire at the enemy, buying time for Daniel to dial the coordinates to Earth, the Stargate disappears due to the Asgard teleport beam. After that, we see SG-1 eight hours earlier in the briefing room. They are being introduced to a strange substance called kassa, which is extremely addictive. There is one lead which takes SG-1 to planet P6G-452 where it seems that the substance is being harvested. They see one farmer consuming the plant and approach him. He reveals that the Lucian Alliance is involved with the drug and Cameron wishes for a meeting to be arranged with the local owner of the land named Worrel. The meeting takes place, but it takes a turn for the worse and thus we see the scene from the beginning. Outnumbered and without a way to run, they surrender. Back at the SGC, Landry orders another team to investigate why SG-1 is late.

Season 9, Episode 17: The Scourge

SG-1 is about to depart for a mission when Landry suddenly stops them. It seems that a team from the International Oversight Advisory is taking a tour on the Gamma Site and SG-1 is called in to escort them. The IOA team arrives shortly after and when the teams are introduced to one another they set off to the Gamma Site. When they arrive, Samantha gives the IOA members a brief explanation why this planet is picked as the Gamma Site, after which they meet Dr. Meyers. He tells them about his current project, concerning insects codenamed R-75 which are suspected to be a weapon of the Priors. The Priors use them to destroy the crops of targeted planets. The insects seem lethargic, but once the lights are out they become active and full of life. Much later that night, Meyers tries to feed the insects with a leaf, but the plant is completely ignored. He then drops a piece of meat inside and the insects swarm over it. In some time, Meyers and Pullman return to the lab and see the bugs rapidly reproducing, so much in fact that the glass shatters from their very numbers and they escape.

Season 9, Episode 18: Arthur’s Mantle

There is a recap of previous events concerning the happenings from the episode “Avalon” and the Sodan. Once the episode begins, we see Samantha working on an artifact found in the Glastonbury cavern. Cameron watches as she gets a positive verification scan and then goes to try and stabilize it. A beam of light shines in the room and the two of them vanish. They then appear back at the lab completely ok and also Ancient letters appear above the artifact. Dr. Lee comes into the lab and when Samantha and Cameron try to interact with him they realize that they are phase shifted and invisible, seemingly trapped on another plane. They can touch each other, but can’t interact with anything else. The two move to try and talk to Daniel, but he also can’t help them. In the meantime there is an off-world activation alarm, the SGC receiving a radio signal and there is a sound of something hitting the iris. Landry orders Samantha down to the gate room and it is then that they all realize that she and Cameron are missing. Meanwhile the transmission is cleared and it seems to be a message from the Sodan who are under attack.

Season 9, Episode 19: Crusade

There is short recap of events concerning Vala and the Ori. Once the episode starts, we see Vala being pregnant, walking through the SGC in search of Cameron. When he turns around to see her, he actually sees Daniel. He goes to Samantha for help and she seems to know what is going on. They have figured out how to emulate the signal from the stones and now Vala, who is actually in the Ori galaxy, sees and acts through Daniel’s body. There is a way to break the connection, but Vala first has some important news to give. After the explosion, she was found unconscious in the rings at a village like the one she and Daniel inhabited for a while. This village is called Ver Isca, where a man named Tomin found her. She successfully blended with the rest of the villages and avoided the Ori and the leader of the village, Seevis. Tomin was a devout follower of the Ori, so she secretly tried to get in touch with the anti-Ori resistance.

Season 9, Episode 20: Camelot

At the beginning of “Camelot” we see a recap of several events which were building up toward the finale. Once the episode actually begins, we see SG-1 on a planet searching for Merlin’s weapon. They stumble upon a village, in which they find a sword in a stone. Soon they are approached by the village governor named Meurik who bids them welcome to Camelot. The team is invited to the local tavern and introduced to Antonius, the historian of the village. When the team asks him about Merlin, things get a bit unpleasant and Antonius explains that it is not common to speak his name in public, since he is believed to be a wizard of darkness. They also find out that there is a library which was built by Merlin, but it is cursed.
