Season 10, Episode 1: Flesh and Blood

There is a recap at the beginning of the episode, concerning some major events from season nine. “Flesh and Blood” begins and we see the Ori ships moving further into the galaxy. Vala is onboard one of the ships and gives birth to a girl, who is immediately taken away by the midwives. The one-eyed Prior enters the room and says that her daughter will lead the Ori to glorious victory over all unbelievers and those who stand in their way. The ships disappears then, entering hyperspace. Meanwhile, Samantha is floating in space around the supergate, desperately trying to get into contact with anyone. Cameron is injured inside his fighter, but manages to hear her. He briefly remembers how he escaped the Korolev seconds before it exploded, with Daniel onboard. Colonel Emerson also makes contact from the extremely damaged Odyssey ship. Teal’c sends a message from a ship which belongs to the Lucian Alliance, but during the message he gets attacked by the members of the Alliance and he goes offline. In the meantime, Vala gets to see her daughter, who is now already four years old.

Season 10, Episode 2: Morpheus

After a short recap, “Morpheus” begins. Teal’c arrives to the SGC reporting that the Ori led by Adria have thus far conquered six more worlds, two of which were Jaffa strongholds. Those who survived say that their leader, a young woman, possesses extraordinary powers. Daniel rushes to the rest of the team and says that he figured out the coordinates to the planet where the Holy Grail is hidden. After he explains to everyone in the briefing room how he discovered this, Landry gives them a go on the mission. He however, forbids Vala to go anywhere. Daniel faces Landry with a try to allow her to go and he actually succeeds, but expects Daniel to keep her in line. She also has to pass a personality evaluation test and after that she will be granted off-world traveling with SG-1. The team passes through the gate where they find a dead town with skeletons lying around and no life in sight.

Season 10, Episode 3: The Pegasus Project

The opening scene shows us the Odyssey ship as it exits the hyperspace into the Pegasus galaxy, arriving above Atlantis. As they approach the city, Elizabeth Weir sends them a greeting, informing them that they are to start with their mission as soon as possible. Cameron, Daniel, Samantha and Vala meet with Weir’s team where they discuss their plan to dial their Stargate and the Ori supergate, although McKay is suspicious. The idea is to move a second Stargate near the supergate and supply a burst of energy with nuclear warheads, forcing it to jump to the nearest possible gate, the supergate. The point is that they wish to link it to the black hole and force the supergate to remain open, preventing the Ori from creating a new wormhole. Daniel and Vala stay on Atlantis to start a research for Merlin references and the others head to the mission.

Season 10, Episode 4: Insiders

There is a recap of a lot of events at the beginning, some being quite old, such as the time when Jack had the knowledge of the Ancients. When “Insiders” starts, Landry talks to SG-1, the team reporting about the research concerning Merlin’s weapon and that sadly the two possible addresses are false. Daniel believes the key is somewhere in Merlin’s library in Camelot. In the meantime, an enemy Goa’uld ship arrives heading directly toward the SGC base. The fighters engage the vessel and bring it down. The real shock is when the SG-1 arrives to the crash site and they realize that the pilot is Ba’al. He is imprisoned and questioned about his actions. Sam discovers that he has a locator beam on himself, but the base has a jamming technology which will prevent his escape. Ba’al says he will only talk to SG-1. It seems that his clones wish him dead, since they found out that they are disposable. Vala figures out that Ba’al wanted to conquer Dakara in order to use the weapon there and destroy all organic life, thus saving the galaxy, technically. In any case, he needs help and offers information concerning Merlin’s weapon in return.

Season 10, Episode 5: Uninvited

General Landry organized a gathering at Jack’s cabin in the woods, since Jack is unable to use it much due to spending a lot of his time in Washington. Cameron arrives, but the rest of SG-1 won’t be able to get there. They talk and move into the cabin, but are completely unaware that someone is watching them from the outside. Meanwhile, Teal’c is on P9J-333, where he is helping Colonel Reynolds and SG-3. They visit a spot where a savage animal butchered the natives. They meet up with Samantha and Vala back in the SGC, arriving with a theory that the Ori are somehow involved. Currently Samantha is in charge of the SGC while Landry is away, so she orders Teal’c and Vala to go back to the planet along with SG-3 and SG-25, to try and discover what is going on without alarming the locals, while she will inform the General that they will be delayed. In the meantime, Cameron is rather uncomfortable spending his time alone with his “boss”.

Season 10, Episode 6: 200

There is a quick recap of events concerning Martin and “Wormhole X-Treme”. Then we see Landry and SG-1 reviewing a movie script brought by Martin, since “Wormhole X-Treme” is going to hit the big screen. Although the team is not so eager on participating, General Landry insists, since he believes that the movie would be an excellent cover story for the real “Stargate” program. Martin wants to hear some suggestions from the team, so Cameron is the first to go with the idea about zombies overrunning the SGC, but he is not really impressed. The conversation is disturbed by Martin’s phone ringing, where he finds out that the lead actor for the movie dropped out. Samantha suggests that Martin can try to “keep” the character in the movie, by making him invisible. She remembers the time when that happened to Jack. During the discussion, Cameron is eager to end the meeting and go to a mission, since it will be his 200th journey through the gate. Sadly, once they get close to pass through, the gate breaks down and they are forced to go back and talk to Martin until the gate is fixed.

Season 10, Episode 7: Counterstrike

There is a recap of events at the beginning of “Counterstrike” concerning the “weapon” on Dakara and Adria. Then we see a Prior as he preaches to a mass of villagers, but unknown to him SG-1 secretly looks at him from the crowd. Adria appears to talk then, this time as an adult. Her speech is interrupted somehow, since she senses that something is wrong and then leaves. After that we see the Odyssey in the planet’s orbit. The ship detects a massive wave of radiation spreading from the Stargate and so SG-1 is beamed up. Once the wave passed, the ship cannot detect a single life form on the planet’s surface and indeed we see that all those villagers are now dead. Daniel tries to comfort Vala because of the possible death of her daughter, but she is actually more relieved than sad. Soon enough, research teams realize what weapon was used on the planet. Their claims are proved once Bra’tac arrives at the SGC, reporting that the Jaffa used the weapon on Dakara, this time to destroy living tissue.

Season 10, Episode 8: Memento Mori

Quite an unexpected opening scene as we see Vala working at a diner as a waitress. Two robbers get inside, but Vala is quick to beat them up and save the day. The odd thing however, is that not only is everyone around confused with how she defeated them so successfully, but she is also baffled herself. Three weeks earlier, we see Vala and Daniel going out to a fancy restaurant for dinner, celebrating her efforts with working honestly with the team. She goes to the bathroom at one point, being drugged by an unknown man and dragged outside into a car. She wakes up tied up and a woman introduces herself as Athena. Athena seems to be an old Goa’uld nemesis of Qetesh and now she is a member of the Trust. She explains that they captured her so that they could unlock Qetesh’s memories, searching for a code to an Ancient tablet leading to some Ancient treasure.

Season 10, Episode 9: Company of Thieves

Some recap scenes concerning the Lucian Alliance open “Company of Thieves”. After that we see the Odyssey arrive to the coordinates where a second supergate should be, but nothing is there. A strong gravitational field is present, though it is not a black hole, much rather a neutron star. Three Goa’uld motherships arrive and immediately open fire, catapulting the Odyssey into a minefield, making the ship suffer extreme damage. The vessel manages to send an SOS signal to the SGC. The rest of SG-1 and Landry discuss who might be responsible for the ambush on Odyssey. The SGC detected a transponder signal, but there is no way of getting there since the Daedalus is already on route to Pegasus and there is no other ship available. Vala suggests arranging a ship and Landry gives a go on that. Back on Odyssey, members of the Lucian Alliance get on board and ask for Samantha and Colonel Emerson. They meet Anateo, though he claims he is not a member of any alliance and he commands her to remove the beacon sending the signal through space, killing Emerson to make her do it.

Season 10, Episode 10: The Quest part 1

As one might deduce from the title of the episode, the show begins with a short recap of events concerning the quest for Merlin’s weapons. We see Daniel trying to figure out the location of the weapons and he discovers that the planets where Arthur and his knights went to search for the Holy Grail make a perfect pyramid. Later, Vala wakes up from a dream and rushes to Daniel, saying that she knows where the weapons are. They are located on a planed which has the coordinates made from the coordinates of the three planets they already know. Surprisingly, they find a match. SG-1 is immediately dispatched to the planet and they discover that the natives have a technology level similar to the one on planet Camelot. They learn from the locals that they are the second group arriving from another world, the first being a group of Jaffa who came along three days ago, the troops being led by Ba’al. The man talking to the team directs SG-1 to the library for more clues and preparations, but also says that none who began the quest survived.
